Principal's Message

Dear Parks Junior High Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, welcome to the Parks Panther family! We’re so excited to have you with us for a new year full of learning, connection, and unforgettable experiences.

This year, we’re launching some amazing new programs that we can’t wait for our students to explore. Most notably, we’re thrilled to open our brand-new Spyder Lab as part of our Print Production class a creative space where students will dive into real-world design and production work, bringing ideas to life in vibrant, professional-quality ways!

Our Parks PATHfinder program continues to grow and offer powerful exploration in CISCO Networking and Literature and Media. We’re also proud to offer our ever-popular Speech and Debate program, with both a class and competition opportunities, and our Robotics club, where students will compete using VEX robots.

We’re also welcoming back the Performance Academy, a flexible program designed to support students who are pursuing excellence in sports and performing arts. With this program, students have the freedom to grow their talents while staying on track academically.

Of course, our performing arts students continue to shine with their world-class vocal and instrumental music performances, and our Panther athletes bring energy and excellence to our after-school sports teams. There are so many ways to get involved, and we encourage every student to find their place, build friendships, and make a difference.

At Parks, we believe that strong communication and family partnerships are key to student success. You’ll receive updates from us by email and text, so please contact the office if you’re not receiving messages.

We are here to support your child’s journey through junior high and to make these two years meaningful, joyful, and full of growth. I love meeting our families, so don’t hesitate to send an email or stop me for a quick hello when you see me on campus.
